In the winter/early spring of 1997, Milt Meisner and Norman Posner sat around a table and put together a plan to create the Hudson Farmers Market. By summer of that year, the market opened in the 6th Street municipal parking lot with 5 vendors.
Since that time the market has grown, and been sustained even more by the community, the City of Hudson and Columbia County. This location now comes alive every Saturday from May until Thanksgiving with over 30 vendors, community booths, musicians, volunteers and neighbors.
If you are new to the Hudson Valley make sure to check out the bounty at the county's largest farmers market. We can't wait to meet you!
